This course is for people who want to work in the food and beverage sector of the Hospitality industry. The completion of this course could lead to work in bars, restaurants, nightclubs, clubs, cafes, hotels, motels, resorts and conference centres. The college
Is equipped with a commercial kitchen which will be used extensively throughout this course.

Duration: Mon & Tues for 30 weeks, Commencement: Monday 11th February.

(You have up to a year to complete this course. This includes 30 weeks of class attendance & 36 service periods or shifts).


SITHFAB005 Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee.

Learn to make espresso coffee, store coffee and maintain commercial coffee machines. In this one day course you will also complete SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety which is a prerequisite. This course delivered in one day, There are no entry requirements for this course Course delivery comprises of face to face learning and theory and practical assessments.

Students with previous experience in the construction industry

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate with Kristine Carroll.

All registered food businesses require a Food Safety Supervisor. This is a one day course which requires the completion of the units SITXFSA201 and SITXFSA101.
