CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to undertake Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) induction training within the construction industry. It requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of WHS legislative requirements, and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.

This course is delivered in one day, Time: 9.00am – 4.00pm at Murwillumbah Community College.

There are no entry requirements for this course.

Course delivery comprises of face to face learning and theory and practical assessments.

Course fee is $140.

Students with previous experience in the construction industry may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning for this unit. Please contact the office for further information.
